Ever since it was founded in 1970, Sumitomo NACCO Forklift Co., Ltd. has been providing forklift trucks and other materials handling equipment to customers in Japan, Asia, and the rest of the world. Over the course of all those years, we have continued to grow based upon "SUMITOMO SPIRIT," which holds trust in high esteem. Along the way, we have continued to work in cooperation with long-standing American company Hyster-Yale Group, one of the world's top-ranking forklift manufacturers.

We have also worked on developing and launching highly energy-efficient battery-powered forklifts and IoT-based services. Products such as these will help our customers use our forklifts safely and efficiently, and contribute to creating a sustainable circular economy. Against a background of serious labor shortages and demands to adapt to new lifestyles, the ways materials are handled are going to change drastically in the coming years. This will in turn require new approaches to things like labor-saving and automation. We will think about our customers' issues by stepping into their shoes, and take action with quality and speed in mind. By doing so, we will aim to always be a partner they can rely on.
