Space saving is the design concept of QuaPro-R. QuaPro-R has significantly revised the mast structure, retraction amount, and equipment layout while maintaining the wheelbase dimensions and operator living space of conventional vehicles. It has achieved the industry's smallest practical right-angle stacking aisle width of 2,540 mm (-130 mm compared to our conventional model) without compromising vehicle stability or living space. By being able to turn easily, it is possible to narrow the aisle width and improve the efficiency of storing luggage, or if the aisle width does not change, there is more room to turn, which leads to improved safety.

Sumitomo's patented Aisle Width Control (AWC) technology allows one-touch selection of "loading mode," which minimizes aisle width for right-angle stacking, and "turning mode," which minimizes turning radius when turning on the spot or making U-turns.

In "loading mode," the optimum steering angle and turning center are automatically adjusted to minimize the right-angle stacking aisle width. This means that the operator can turn with the smallest right-angle stacking aisle width simply by turning the steering wheel to the steering end without having to worry about the optimum steering angle.

The design concept of QuaPro-R is energy saving. QuaPro-R is the first reach truck to use an IPM motor for the drive motor. Furthermore, we have made every effort to achieve high efficiency by reviewing the parts used, such as making the loading motor AC and reducing the vehicle weight, and optimizing the equipment layout and various controls.

We have achieved industry-leading low power consumption (24% less than our previous model). In recognition of our contribution to promoting efficient energy use, we received the Japan Machinery Industry Federation Chairman's Award for Excellent Energy Saving Equipment. The design concept of QuaPro-R is man-machine integration. To realize a more natural operation feeling that responds to the operator's intentions, QuaPro-R thoroughly reviewed the driving inching and loading inching. In addition, while maintaining good mast visibility, we have worked on creating an operator-centered vehicle by improving boarding and disembarking by lowering the floor. The man-machine integration operation feeling increases the efficiency of loading and unloading work, leading to overall productivity improvement. In addition, AWC (small turning radius control) is installed to realize the key concept of small turning (minimum right-angle loading aisle width). You can freely select (loading mode) to minimize 90-degree turning during loading and unloading.

When quick acceleration is required, the vehicle accelerates quickly, and when delicate inching is required, the acceleration characteristic is gentle and appropriate to the situation.
