The adoption of AC control ensures top-class performance in terms of travel speed, lift speed, and climbing ability.
A major evolution from conventional battery vehicles, it has the power and speed of an engine vehicle, dramatically improving workability. The adoption of AC control has achieved power and operability that far exceeds the limits of conventional DC control.
Neutral regeneration
When the accelerator pedal is released, the vehicle automatically decelerates with the AC controller, and the braking energy is recovered in the battery, realizing energy savings. This contributes to extending the life of the brake linings, and also provides a driving feeling on a par with that of an internal combustion engine vehicle.
Brake pedal regeneration
When the brake pedal is depressed, the AC controller automatically slows the vehicle and recovers the braking energy in the battery, contributing to energy savings, reduced brake pressure, and extended brake lining life.
Shift lever regeneration
When the shift lever is shifted in the reverse direction, the AC controller automatically slows the vehicle down and recovers braking energy in the battery, realizing energy savings. Shifting is also quick and without a contactor, allowing for stress-free driving and contributing to a smooth driving feeling.
Hydraulic Regeneration
When the control lever is stopped, the mast inertial energy is recovered and stored in the battery, achieving energy savings.
Acceleration Characteristics
The acceleration characteristics have been optimized by taking full advantage of the excellent controllability that is a feature of the AC controller. From high performance on par with that of a gasoline engine vehicle to strong low-speed torque, delicate operation is also comfortable. Smooth acceleration and energy saving over a wide range have been achieved.
Comfortable operability that does not tire the operator
The steering wheel has a small diameter and is offset to the left of the driver's seat, and the operating force has been further reduced to achieve light operation and reduced fatigue based on ergonomics. This has also been verified through evaluation using electromyography (※1).
